God has truly been good to us, but then again, that is what HE has promised isn't it?
Traveling on My Knees by Sandra Goodwin
Last night I took a journey
To a land across the seas;
I did not go by boat or plane,
I traveled on my knees.
I saw so many people there
In deepest depths of sin,
But Jesus told me I should go,
That there were souls to win.
But I said, "Jesus, I cannot go
And work with such as these."
He answered quickly, "Yes, you can
By traveling on your knees."
He said, "You pray; I'll meet the need,
You call and I will hear;
Be concerned about lost souls,
Of those both far and near."
And so I tried it, knelt in prayer,
Gave up some hours of ease;
I felt the Lord right by my side
While traveling on my knees.
As I prayed on and saw souls saved
And twisted bodies healed,
And saw God's workers' strength renewed
While laboring on the field.
I said, "Yes, Lord, I have a job,
My desire Thy will to please;
I can go and heed They call
By traveling on my knees."
WHAT CAN YOU DO? ......
As Christians, not everyone is called to a foreign mission field, and not everyone is called to full time church work. But as Christians, it is your repsonsibility to help support and encourage others who are called into that work. God can use your support to touch a life around the world. What a blessing you have!! Think, for your caring and support, one day you can stand in heaven and meet those who, though you never met, you cared enough about to help. Please keep us in your prayers and support us as God leads.

Making a Difference
Once a man was walking on the beach and he saw many starfish on the sand.
The starfish were dying because the tide was going out and the starfish could not reach the water.
A small child was running up and down the beach, busily picking up starfish and throwing each back into the sea.
The man asked her, "Child why are you bothering? There are so many starfish here you cannot hope to save them all. You CAN'T make a difference!"
The child stopped, picked up a starfish and threw it into the sea.
"I made a difference to THAT one", replied the little girl.
An Advocate's Lament
everywhere I look my lord
the children are in need,
there must be something we can do
perhaps I ought to lead.
their hearts you know are broken
as we listen to their sigh,
the worker tells them it's all right
when the child begins to cry.
they place him in another home
and tell him they'll be back,
they promise to come visit
before he has to pack.
my lord, please tell all the children
that we're trying hard each day,
to stand up for our little ones
and find a better way.
the hours turn to days
and the days turn into years,
the child isn't home yet
but they tell him not to fear.
your parents are still trying
at least that's what they heard,
now be sure to get your grades up
and no fighting or bad words.
by now he must be asking
doesn't anyone still care,
they tell him he's a gift from god
and life just isn't fair.
the anger builds inside him
until he finally sees,
that if he breaks another window
they're bound to set him free.
the freedom doesn't last long
a wish to see the stars,
but it's going to be quite difficult
behind those metal bars.
my lord, please tell all the children
that we're trying hard each day,
to stand up for our little ones
and find a better way.
